In this paper a reflectarray (RA) antenna with circular aperture is analysed, designed, fabricated and measured. The unit element consists of a concentric, multi-resonance circular-ring structure with variable size. To reduce the phase sensitivity to manufacturing inaccuracy without dedication the 360° phase range and mitigate losses in the unit element, a modified design method is introduced by changing the outer and inner radius of the interior ring in the opposite directions. Thus, this gives a good manufacturing tolerance with a high-efficiency wideband performance. Test results show the maximum gain of 26.4 dBi at 10 GHz with 16.3% 1dB gain bandwidth.
